Installation

How to install your rainwater system — correctly and legally

We supply systems, consulting, service, and repairs. The installation itself is carried out by your own craftsmen — and parts of the work require authorization.

Authorization — who may do what?

A rainwater harvesting system interfaces with the sewerage, water installation, and electricity. Therefore, significant parts of the work must only be carried out by authorized professionals.

Authorized sewer master

Tank burial, connection to drain and sewer, overflow, and backflow prevention. All work in the ground and on the drainage installation requires sewer authorization.

Certified plumber

Connection to the house's water installation, physical separation from drinking water, and correct labeling of pipes and draw-off points. Here, the requirements for authorization are highest.

Authorized electrical installer

A minor electrical task: permanent connection of pump and control, suitable circuit and RCD. Small in scope, but must be carried out by an authorised electrician.

Responsibility and documentation

The system must be constructed in accordance with BR18 using VA-approved components, and the establishment must be reported to the municipality. You use your own authorized craftsmen, who are responsible for the execution and documentation. We deliver the products, advise along the way, and subsequently handle service and repair.
