Mandatory service on your rainwater harvesting system
Rainwater harvesting systems connected to the house's installations must be inspected at least once a year. With a service agreement, we ensure that the mandatory inspection is carried out on time — and you receive a written service report as documentation.
The annual inspection is mandatory
According to Danish regulations for rainwater systems (DS/EN 16941-1 and Rørcenter-anvisning 003), a system connected to a house's installations must be inspected and maintained at least once a year by a professional. The inspection ensures that the backflow prevention device is working so that rainwater can never mix with drinking water — and that the system remains legal and covered by warranty. You will receive a written service report that you can use as documentation for the municipality, insurance, and when selling the property.
What's included in the mandatory inspection?
Our technician systematically inspects the system according to a fixed checklist. If anything needs to be adjusted or replaced, it is done as far as possible during the same visit.

Service-related questions
How often should my rainwater harvesting system be inspected?
We recommend an annual inspection. It is both good practice and a legal requirement for systems connected to the house's installations that the system is checked and maintained regularly.
Is service mandatory?
For installations connected to the house's systems — typically toilets and washing machines — there is a requirement that the installation is maintained and functions correctly, including the backflow prevention device. A documented annual inspection is the simplest way to meet this requirement.
How much does a service agreement cost?
Bronze costs DKK 995 per year with annual service and a 10% discount on parts. Silver costs DKK 1,870 per year and includes a 3-year product warranty, and Gold costs DKK 2,746 per year with a 10-year warranty. All prices include VAT, and mileage is charged by distance and quoted upon booking.
Do you also service systems you didn't install yourselves?
Yes. Our technician has many years of experience with rainwater harvesting systems and is thoroughly familiar with systems from Wisy and Dehoust — but we also service systems from other manufacturers.
What happens if something needs to be replaced?
If a part needs adjustment or replacement, we do so during the same visit whenever possible. We bring the most common spare parts, and you will always be informed of the price before we begin.
Do you cover all of Denmark?
Yes, we operate nationwide. We plan visits geographically to make travel as affordable as possible for you.
