Four things you only get if the system is included from the start

Cheaper facilities

The tank is lowered while the excavator is still on the property, and the pipes are laid before the floor is cast. This is typically 20–30% cheaper than a retrofit.

Optimal placement

The tank can be placed close to downpipes and technical rooms, so that pump height and pipe lengths are kept to a minimum. This results in lower power consumption throughout the lifetime of the system.

Concealed installations

Double piping for toilets and washing machine can be laid in walls and floor. No visible pipes, no compromises in the interior design.

Documentation in the building case

Review, labelling and backflow prevention are handled together with the rest of the building permit application – not as a separate matter with the municipality.

When does what need to be in place?

The sequence is more important than anything else. If the pipes are not laid before the floor is cast, the system will be more expensive than necessary.

  1. Design

    Before building application

    We calculate roof area, estimated consumption and tank size, and specify the system on the plumbing and drainage plan. This locks in dimensions and product choices before quotes are obtained.

  2. Earthworks and drainage

    Simultaneous with excavation

    Your sewer master connects the tank, filter collector and overflow to the rainwater system or soakaway. We deliver components and installation instructions to the site.

  3. Shell construction

    Before casting and closing

    The plumber runs rainwater pipes to the toilets and washing machine, as well as empty conduits for the pump and control system. The electrician runs a dedicated circuit to the technical room.

  4. Outfitting

    Upon completion

    Pump, control unit and refill valve are to be installed and labeled. All rainwater taps must be marked to avoid confusion with drinking water.

  5. Commissioning

    Upon moving in

    We review, adjust, and test the system and train you in daily operation — and offer the mandatory annual inspection afterwards.
