A rainwater harvesting system doesn't demand much – but it requires the right things at the right time.

To ensure your system functions optimally and meets requirements, an annual inspection is recommended. This is both good practice and a legal requirement for systems connected to the house's installations.

We offer service agreements so you don't have to keep track of it yourself. You sign up once – and we take care of the rest.

What's included in a service agreement?

Our technician Henrik Nygaard Hansen systematically inspects the system: filters, control unit, pump, and connections. If anything needs to be adjusted or replaced, it's done during the same visit.

Henrik has many years of experience with rainwater harvesting systems and a thorough knowledge of Wisy and Dehoust systems. He also services systems from other manufacturers.

Rainwater can be used for toilet flushing, laundry, and garden watering. These are the three biggest water consumers in a household apart from baths and showers, and they do not require drinking water quality. Together, this can replace up to half of your water consumption.

Yes. Rainwater is soft water with almost no lime, which is actually an advantage for your washing machine and your clothes.

You use less detergent, and the machine is less burdened by lime deposits. The system filters the water before it reaches the washing machine.

No. You check the filter a couple of times a year, and the tank is inspected once a year. It takes only a few minutes and can be compared to the maintenance you already do on your home.

A VA approval is an official Danish system approval issued by ETA-Danmark.

It documents that the entire system (filters, tank, pump and control) has been tested and approved as a complete solution.

MRAIN is currently the only rainwater harvesting system in Denmark with a valid VA approval.

This gives you the assurance that the system complies with building regulations and is continuously quality-controlled by the Danish Technological Institute.
