With a garden system, it is possible to collect rainwater from roof surfaces for garden irrigation, cleaning patios, hosing down tiles, washing cars and windows. A significant advantage is that rainwater is soft and does not contain lime, thus it does not leave lime deposits when washing cars or windows. A garden system does not require connection to the house, and is therefore ideal for already established houses, as there is no requirement for separate water pipes for toilets and washing machines, as with a house system. A pump is simply placed in the tank, which reacts to pressure loss. Delivered including a filter basket for sorting out leaves, twigs, etc. and a pump with an attached suction hose, filter, and non-return valve.
