With a garden system, it is possible to collect rainwater from roof surfaces for garden watering, patio cleaning, tile hosing, car washing, and window cleaning. A significant advantage is that rainwater is soft and does not contain lime, meaning it does not leave lime deposits when washing cars or windows. A garden system does not require connection to the house and is therefore ideal for already established houses, as there is no requirement for separate water pipes for toilets and washing machines, as there is with a house system. There is simply a pump placed in the tank that reacts to pressure loss. Supplied with a filter basket for sorting out leaves, twigs, etc., and a pump with an attached suction hose, filter, and non-return valve.
