Use of the FS filter collector
The FS filter collector filters rainwater from up to 150 m² of roof area (projected to the level). It is then optimally prepared for storage in the rainwater tank and can be used in the garden, for toilets, or in the washing machine.
Stainless steel or copper are available for visual harmonization with the downpipe.
The rainwater filter is ideal for mounting in metal or plastic downpipes. It consists of an upper housing part, a housing part and a filter insert. The housing is optionally available in stainless steel (VA) or copper (CU), while the filter insert is made of stainless steel in all versions and has a filter mesh size of 0.28 mm.
Maintenance is simple and requires little effort. The filter should be inspected twice a year and only cleaned if necessary. This is best done in a dishwasher. The outlet connection to the rainwater tank has a diameter of DN 50. The rainwater filter also complies with the drainage standards DIN EN 12056 / EN 752 and meets the requirements of DIN 1989 .
The filter collector for rainwater downpipes
The FS filter collector filters rainwater directly in the downpipe while it is still being discharged to the side of the cistern. The filter insert is made of fine stainless steel mesh with a mesh size of only 0.28 mm. This reliably separates leaves, moss, and other dirt and flushes it into the receiving water.
Capacity of the FS filter collector
The flow rate through the filter collector can be up to 4.2 l/s, which corresponds to the capacity of the downpipe. As in all WISY filters, the open cross-section is maintained throughout. There are no constrictions where rainwater can accumulate. Not even during heavy rainfall with strong dirt ingress. Safe drainage in accordance with DIN EN 12056 / EN 752 is always guaranteed, DIN 1989 is met. At the same time, the filter has a high hydraulic efficiency. As soon as the filter screen is moistened with water, about 0.98 liters per second are filtered and directed to the rainwater tank at an inflow rate of one liter per second.
Low maintenance and easy to maintain
All WISY filter inserts are designed to be particularly low-maintenance. Their smooth stainless steel surface makes it virtually impossible for impurities to adhere. As the filter insert is above ground level, it is easily accessible and protected from backflow into the sewer system. If necessary, it can be removed from the housing with a few simple steps and cleaned with a high-pressure cleaner or in the dishwasher.The FS filter collector can be easily and without much effort installed in the downpipe. A section of the downpipe is cut out according to the instructions, and the filter can be inserted directly.
The FS filter collector fits perfectly on the lower part of the downpipe, so no additional fastening is needed, and installation is completed in a few minutes. The filter collector is then immediately ready for use and ensures efficient utilization of rainwater.
