Item number
- Fully automatic rainwater unit for supplying rainwater to single and two-family homes
- For long distances or height differences from rainwater tank to wall-mounted unit
- Double fault protection: Separate pumps for rainwater and drinking water operation
- Mains water top-up via the top-up tank in the wall-mounted unit
- With ZETA 02 automatic switch: Less than 0.2 watts in standby mode
- Max. flow rate: 70 l/min
- Max. head: 47 m
- Max. system pressure: 4.7 bar
The OPTIMA PLUS rainwater unit combines all the components necessary for operation in one unit. It allows water to be pumped from the rainwater tank over long transport distances and high transport heights and fed into the rainwater pipe network under pressure.
Itcontrols the entire rainwater system, monitors the fill level of the storage tank and, if necessary, automatically adds drinking water to the wall-mounted unit.
Dimensions of the Optima Plus wall-mounted unit (in mm): W 500 x H 510 x D 315

Up to 97% more economical than other rainwater units in standby mode
The control systems in many rainwater systems consume up to 15 watts in standby mode , which accounts for most of the energy required to use rainwater. With the efficient ZETA 02 control unit, developed in cooperation with the Central Hesse Technical University, the standby consumption is reduced to less than 0.2 watts. This means energy savings of up to 97% compared to conventional rainwater systems. The ZETA 02 is included as standard in the OPTIMAPLUS rainwater unit.
Uninterrupted water supply
During prolonged dry spells, the system automatically switches to mains water mode, where the float switch in the cistern acts as a sensor. If required, the OPTIMAPLUS can also be switched to mains water mode manually. In addition, a small intermediate storage tank in the rainwater unit ensures an uninterrupted water supply in the rainwater piping network at all times.
Pump Logic and Flow Rate
OPTIMAPLUS has two pumps: a powerful submersible pump in the cistern and a centrifugal pump in the rainwater unit. Depending on the operating mode, only one of the two runs at a time. In rainwater mode, the submersible pump in the cistern pumps up to 60 litres per minute to the draw-off points, while the pump in the rainwater unit is inactive to avoid noise pollution in the house. The powerful submersible pump can also be used with longer supply lines between the cistern and the rainwater unit, where distances of more than 25 metres are possible. The submersible pump in the cistern only switches off when refilling is required, and the centrifugal pump in the rainwater unit's wall-mounted unit takes over operation.
